This coffee comes from the Sede Washing Station in Konga, which is in the kebele or village, of Sede. Konga is about 4 kilometers south of the town of Yirgacheffe. After tasting this lot we found that the processing impacts a jammy body, with a lot of red berry flavor, slightly floral with sweet chocolatey finish. There are somewhere between six thousand and ten thousand varietals exist naturally in these highlands. Because of the varietal diversity, there has been an amazing amount of cross pollination which has helped create the incredible profiles we love about Ethiopian coffees.
