This is our first time offering a single-producer lot from Ethiopia, and it’s a special one. Grown by Mr. Tadese Teko in the highlands of Gedeb, this washed-process coffee comes from his farm in Shale village near Worka—an area known for stunning coffees. Mr. Tadese owns 8 hectares of land (twice the regional average) and supports his nine children through coffee, using traditional, chemical-free farming practices that reflect the deep care behind his work.

His coffee is part of the Single Farmer Project, a movement for traceability that gives Ethiopian producers direct recognition for their craft. Each lot is selected for quality, and only sold with the farmer’s name—and their full agreement—on the contract. We’re proud to share Mr. Tadese’s coffee
